Valorant Working On Stinger Buff For Next Patch

Broken

Valorant has been making waves within the gaming world since it was released back in 2020, and with the esports scene soaring thanks to VCT; more players are jumping in every day.

With Episode 5 Act 2 being released now, we haven't seen many changes to the meta, but Riot seems to want to shake this up soon.

Here's all we know about the Stinger buff coming in the next patch.

Valorant Working On Stinger Buff For Next Patch

The Stinger has been one of the most under-rated weapons within Valorant since the game released, and it's largely due to the weapons high rate of fire, combined with inconsistent aim.

We've seen some nasty plays with the Stinger, as enemies don't really expect players to purchase one, as they usually opt for a Sherrif or a Specter.

However, ValorLeaks has indicated that Riot is now testing a new buff to the weapon within the PBP servers, meaning we're going to see the changes implemented soon enough.

The following changes are coming to the Stinger.

  • Primary Fire has been adjusted from 1.6 error after 7 bullets -> 1.3 error after 6 bullets
  • Alt Fire first shot error has been adjusted from .5 -> .35

This is rather interesting, as the weapons seems perfectly valid as it is, so we'll have to wait and see how these changes pan out!
