Overwatch 2 has now released worldwide, and Blizzard's latest entry into the series has improved in all aspects compared to it's original release.

One of key aspects of OW2 is in-game cosmetics, and with loot boxes gone, it appears we're going to have to purchase the skins we want.

Legacy Coins come into play here, and we're going to dive into what they are, along with how to obtain them in OW2!

When you head into Hero pages in OW2, you'll notice that certain skins are purchasable via OW2 coins, and some will say 'Legacy Coins.'

These are essentially the coins that you didn't spend during OW1's cycle, and have thus carried over into OW2, but won't have the same value has regular coins.

So, you'll have to spend these on certain skins that take these coins, and as of now, there's no clear cut way to obtain these coins.

As well, we highly doubt they're going to release a method in order to snag Legacy Coins, so be sure to spend them as soon as possible!
