Assassin's Creed has long and been one of the premier gaming franchises that used to produce annual releases for players.
However, since Valhalla, Ubisoft has been rolling out consistent DLC and other updates, and now it appears one of the DLCs they were intending on releasing this year, is now going to be a standalone title!
New Assassin's Creed Game To Be More Stealth Focused
The initial report surrounding the new title comes from a report done by Bloomberg. Bascially, the game which has been codenamed Rift, was suppose to be a DLC for AC Valhalla, and since they've wanted to turn it into a fresh game.
It'll star Basim, one of the characters from Valhalla, and within the Bloomberg report they noted how it'll have a emphasis on stealth more than in previous titles.
While of course Ubisoft hasn't confirmed the rumors as of now, this concept does sound interesting to us. As for those who do not know, Valhalla, while it was a great game, strayed away from the stealth aspects that other AC titles excelled in.
So, it might be good to get back to the roots that made AC so famous!
