The Legend of Zelda has always been one of Nintendo's flagship series, and with the success of Breath of The Wild, the series has been elevated to new heights as of late.

Now, with rumors circulating for quite some time regarding remakes of two iconic Zelda titles, some leaks may have pointed towards a reveal in two weeks.

Here's all we know about Wind Waker and Twilight Princess Remakes.

This has been a rumor dating back a year or two now, espicially Wind Waker, which has already seen a remake released, which came out on the Wii U.

Now, Jeff Grubb and Mike Minotti, two of the most trusted sources within gaming, have noted that a new Nintendo Direct is going to occur soon, and will have some major news.

“100% there’s a Nintendo Direct in September, it’s that simple. There is still some uncertainty about whether this will be a general [Direct], maybe a Mini, there was some talk of it being a Partner Direct”.

Both journalists note how The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker and The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess are going to get HD remakes for the Switch, that'll be announced during this Direct.

“To be clear guys, the one thing we are very, very sure is being announced at this Direct are the Wind Waker and Twilight Princess ports for Switch."

They added to this with the following on how this Direct is going to be very Zelda themed.

“Yeah, I think there’s going to be a lot of Zelda stuff at this thing,” - “I think this is like a Zelda blowout for Nintendo."

As well, they did note that the original Metroid Prime may also see an announcement during this time for a remake.

“Which, again, even had we not heard that, I would be speculating that that would be happening right now while we wait for the run-up to Breath of the Wild 2. And yet we have heard that, and we’ve heard other things, again Metroid Prime remaster, that sounds like it’s got to be announced at something like this."

Nintendo has confrimed that the Nintendo Direct will begin on Setepmber 13 at the following times.

• 7:00 am PST
• 10:00 am EST
• 3:00 pm BST

As well, they've noted that the event is going to be foucsed on the following.

"Featuring roughly 40 minutes of information mostly focused on #NintendoSwitch games launching this winter."
