Ashes of War are little power-ups that players can find around the map, and can be equipped to nearly any weapon within the game, allowing for players to use some pretty crazy abilites.
In order to fully use these Ashes of War, you’re going to have to also have the Whetstone Knife in your inventory. You’ll obtain this early on within the game, so shouldn’t be an issue tracking this down.
You’ll be able to find this within the Gatefront Ruin’s and once you have this tool, you’ll simply need to head to the closest Site of Grace.
Once there, rest and there should be an Ashes of War option that pops up, and once you’ve selected this, you’re than able to equip them to certain weapons!
