Bungie’s Marathon has had a unique journey since it was announced back in 2023, as the game has already seen numerous delays and some controversy.

Does Marathon Have Cross Play? Answered
Marathon is going to be the latest extraction shooter for players to try out, and with titles such as Arc Raiders swooping players, the genre is on the uptick for sure.
Bungie has now confirmed the official release date of March 5th, 2026 for Marathon and for those who don't already know, they've noted that cross play will be fully enabled at release.
As noted on Marathon's landing page, they state:
"Coming to Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S with full cross play and cross save. Wishlist now and stay up to date with the latest details."
