Here's what we know!
Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Reveal Rumored For September
While at first it seemed like the beta was going to be happen sometime in the middle of August, this doesn't seen likley now, as Tom Henderson has posted a new aritcle via TryHardGames, and has noted how there's been significant movement towards a September reveal.
This doesn't come as too much of a surprise, as it'll match the dates they've been using for the last couple of years, and it gives players a decent amount of time to decide if they want the actually purchase the game or not.
Henderson has noted the following.
It’s not entirely clear when or how the multiplayer mode will be revealed, but some form of livestream with developer interviews is to be expected.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer BETA is currently scheduled for mid-late September and although Activision is yet to confirm these dates, sources have said this is the case.
Unfortunately, sources have yet to say anything in regards to some form of Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer alpha; but if things change I will add an update.
For now, we're going to have to wait and see what Activision have planned for us!
