Hytale was once a highly anticipated title that many gamers were looking forward to, and even more so when Riot Games acquired the studio back in 2020.
Now, five years have passed, and through some development turmoil, Hytale has gone back to being independent, and the game will be released soon.

When Is Hytale Releasing? Answered
Hytale was originally set to be released back in 2021, just a year shy of when Riot purchased the company whose game at the time had over 2.5 million registrants.
The game will be released to the public in a version a few years old, but the Hypixel team has already said they'll update it regularly to make up for lost time.
Hytale will be in early access on January 13th, 2026; and over the course of the games release, we can expect consistent updates.
