When Does Destiny 2 The Final Shape Release?
The Final Shape was originally slated to release in February of 2024, and this is also around when most players expect annual Destiny 2 updates, so it wasn’t much of a surprise for players.
However, Bungie has now confirmed in their latest blog post, that yes, The Final Shape has been delayed until June 2024.
Here’s what they had to say.
“We’ll keep it short and simple. The Final Shape needs more time to become exactly what we want it to be, so we’re moving its release date to June 4, 2024.”

We want to honor that journey, so we’re taking the time we need to deliver an even bigger and bolder vision, one that we hope will be remembered and treasured for years to come.”
