Stardew Valley is now celebrating its eighth year anniversary, and with the game thriving, ConcernedApe has gone ahead and released the brand new 1.6 update.
One feature that has been pestering players is the green rain, and there’s some questions into what this exactly does within the game.

What Does The Green Rain Do In Stardew Valley
ConcernedApe has now shared via X that update 1.6 for Stardew Valley is going to be first released on PC on March 19, 2024.
During this update, there’s been a ton of content added for players to check out, from new pets, to a brand new farm in the form of Meadowlands. However, the green rain is what we’re concerned with today, as it can cause quite the confusion at first glance for some players.
The new weather feature is brand new within 1.6, and will act as an event where moss will spawn at a greater rate around your farm as opposed to other times. So, while this is limited, players should take advantage of this and gather up the most moss that you possibly can.
