Pokemon Legends Z-A will be the next mainline Pokemon game to hit the shelves, and it'll also be the first in the series to release on the Nintendo Switch 2.
While many loved the first Pokemon Legends, this one will be aiming to improve in many aspects, and it all starts with the Pokemon.
Here's what we know about the starter Pokemon.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A: What Are The Starter Pokemon? Best Choices and More
Pokemon Legends Z-A is aiming to expand the model that was set by Legends: Arceus, and the battle system is certainly getting some upgrades.
While we've seen snippets of some of the Pokemon that will be obtainable, the three starters that we'll get to pick from are:
- Chikorita
- Grass Type
- Tepig
- Fire Type
- Totodile
- Water Type
In terms of which ones are going to be the best, we have an inkling that none will reign supreme to the extents we've seen in past Pokemon games. However, we lean towards Tepig, due to its final evolution, Emboar, being a dual-typing with Fire/Fighting.
But, this probably won't matter, and we encourage you to pick whichever starter you want to!
