Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen have now been announced to be making their way onto the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, and fans are amped.

Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen are staples for modern-day gaming, and they're the game for many of us that was our first entry in the Pokemon franchsie.

Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen will be released on February 27th, 2026, globally and will cost players $19.99 USD for each version. 

Players will need to purchase each one separately, as we don't think Nintendo will release a bundle in the near future, but we'll keep our eyes peeled.
