One of the games that has quickly risen to the top of players' wish lists for 2026 is Crimson Desert, which features a sprawling open world and rich mechanics.
Pearl Abyss, the developer behind Crimson Desert, which is best known for their work on Black Desert, has been rather tight-lipped on some of the game's details in the leadup to it's release.
Crimson Desert will indeed be a game that is single-player first, and there are currently no plans to include multiplayer upon release. However, we aren't sure if this will change later down the line due to either mods or the developers themselves adding it.
But, for the time being, Crimson Desert is a full-fledged single-player experience!
