In Forza Horizon 5, some of the game’s best rides are sitting around in barns just waiting to be discovered. Alas, it’s not as simple as providing you with a map, because Forza Horizon 5’s Barn Finds — as they’re known in Forza parlance — aren’t unlocked until you play through portions of the game. Another important thing to remember is that these vehicles take time to restore once you’ve claimed them — they’ve been sitting around in barns for a while, after all!
Want to know more about Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds and the cars that await within? Our guide will spell out everything you need to complete a car enthusiast’s dream treasure hunt.
How To Unlock Barn Finds in Forza Horizon 5
Taking the in-game narrative around Barn Finds to its logical conclusion, Forza Horizon 5 presents barns and the vehicles waiting in them as the stuff of rumor. You have to hear the rumor of a specific barn before you can find and unlock it. Even if you know the location of each barn on the world map — which we do, as you can see below! — you aren’t able to just drive up to them and take the car inside.
A majority of the Barn Finds can be unlocked simply by continuing to play through the game, usually by driving nearby the location where the barn will eventually be revealed, while others appear by performing specific actions connected to Expeditions. We’ll lay out all of them for you below.
