Elden Ring, the action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco, set records for sales and gameplay, was it was the 2022 Game of the Year.
Now, FromSoftware has delivered a spectacular trailer, and there’s been some interviews floating around that have confirmed some of the new weapon types coming to the game.

Elden Ring Shadow of The Erdtree Weapons: All New Weapon Styles and More
Elden Ring has been widely acclaimed and is widely considered one of the best games of 2022. Its exceptional performance is evident in the numerous Game of the Year awards it has won.
FromSoftware has now confirmed via the first trailer for Shadow of The Erdtree, that it’ll release on June 21st, 2024, and OkamiGames has noted on X, that in an interview with Hidetaka Miyazaki, conducted by Famitsu, they noted that there’s going to be eight new weapon types.
Here’s the confirmed ones so far.
- Japanese greatsword
- Monk fist weapon
- Throwable weapons
