Larian Studios showed off their latest project at The Game Awards 2025, and thanks to much speculation, fans were anticipating Divinity 3, and were correct as the game received its first official cinematic.
However, Larian is already building anticipation around the game, and their latest comments indicate that this title will be even larger than Baldur 's Gate 3.
Divinity 3 To Be Larian's 'Biggest game ever'
While Larian has been an established developer for quite some time now, their popularity and entry into mainstream gaming took a drastic turn during 2023 with the release of Baldur's Gate 3.
Now, their next title will be set in the other universe that they're known for, and the Divinity series is still their largest franchise, to the surprise of many.
After the trailer premiere, Geoff Keighley noted that Lairan said this will indeed be their 'biggest game ever,' which is notable given the sheer length and content of Baldur's Gate 3.
