BEST WEAPONS IN GHOST RECON WILDLANDS
March 30, 2017
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is full of things to love, like the stealth elements and cooperative play, but our favorite? That would have to be the weapons. After pouring dozens of hours into the game, we’ve come up with a list of the best weapons in Ghost Recon Wildlands.
HTI Sniper Rifle
Starting off our list of best weapons in Ghost Recon Wildlands is the HTI sniper rifle. This beauty offers the highest damage possible in the game. You’ll be taking down Santa Blanca druglords from several klicks away with this extremely accurate weapon. To find the HTI sniper rifle, you’ll need to head to the Montuyoc Training Base in the east of the Montuyoc province. Once it’s in your possession, have fun picking off hapless enemies from a distance.
P90 Submachine Gun
For those that prefer a closer range style to eliminate cartel targets, the P90 submachine gun is worth collecting – it wound up being our favorite submachine gun to use in Ghost Recon Wildlands. With an astoundingly high rate-of-fire you’ll be rejoicing as the bullets spit out the muzzle faster than you can say, “Nighty-night, El Sueño”. You can claim your own P90 by heading to the La Cruz province and locating the La Cruz Base found on the eastern side of the area.

D-50 Pistol
Another one of the best weapons in Ghost Recon Wildlands is the D-50 pistol. Many of you veteran FPS gamers will be familiar with this pistol by its other name, the Desert Eagle. The D-50 handheld cannon packs a mean punch, allowing you to take down some of Ghost Recon Wildlands’ heavily armored UNIDAD soldiers with ease. The D-50 can be found in the Libertad province, within the F.O.B. Oso Hormiguero, located in the northwest area. After you claim your Desert Eagle, we doubt you’ll want to use any other weapon, but if you do, you should consider the…
SPAS-12 Shotgun
While a submachine gun will bring you in close to the action, the true in-your-face weapon of choice is the shotgun, and no shotgun is better than the SPAS-12. You can claim your own SPAS-12 shotgun in Ghost Recon Wildlands by crossing the border into the La Cruz province and heading to the F.O.B. Vibora compound.
MK249 Light Machine Gun
Laying down suppressing fire is a strategy that will help you and your teammates survive longer in the hostile environment of Bolivia, and no light machine gun does this better than the MK249. Be sure to collect your own MK249 by infiltrating Malca and finding an outpost to the north of Icoya.
ACR Assault Rifle
Rounding off our list is one of the best assault rifles in Ghost Recon Wildlands. For a lot of players, an assault rifle is their go-to weapon when entering combat, and we couldn’t agree more. The ACR assault rifle is without a doubt, one of the best weapons in Ghost Recon Wildlands. With pinpoint accuracy, impressive rate-of-fire, and damage to boot, you’ll be shredding druglords all over the narc-state. To find the ACR assault rifle, head to the Media Luna province and fight your way into the La Loma base. As with all the other weapons on this list, be sure to bring your friends because not only is fighting alongside friends one of the best things in Ghost Recon Wildlands, but it will improve your chances of success.
Whether you prefer to take down the Santa Blanca cartel members from afar using a sniper rifle, up close using a shotgun, or somewhere in between using an LMG or pistol, we’re absolutely certain that you will want to be using some of these guns. Ghost Recon Wildlands has a lot to offer, but its weapons are the main selling point. Be sure to track down the guns on this list, because they are some of the best weapons in Ghost Recon Wildlands.
